Job Description
Cedar are supporting a well established financial services business with the search for an Assistant Finance Business Partner, to join the Business Partnering team on a FTC basis until December 2023.

As part of the Business Partnering team, you will provide a high quality finance business partnering function by providing support and analysis to the wider business, and continuing to develop a culture of financial awareness and value for money.

Duties –

Manage the full month end cycle
Working alongside Finance Business Partners supporting with financial accounting and internal controls
Responsible for monthly review and reconciliation of most important balance sheet accounts
Financial reporting, presentations and ensuring management accounts are analysed
Oversee financial controls and assist with planning and budgeting alongside the Finance Business Partners
Step in for the Senior Finance BP and / or the Finance Business Partner to be the representative of Finance at key senior leadership meetings
Support updating the financial model for forecast changes

Experience –

Part qualified accountant – ACCA or CIMA
Knowledge and relevant management accounting experience
Able to build positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders
A methodical approach to work
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Demonstrable commercial and business acumen
Strong analytical skills

You will need to be immediately available or on a max two week notice period to be considered for this role.
