Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at my Dudley based client, due to excellent growth and internal promotion they are now seeking a Transactional Finance Team Leader who can support the business with managing the Transactional team effectively, working to strict deadlines and maintaining internal and external processes within a fast paced environment.

Key Duties:
• Manage Transactional Department Team of 8,
• Monitor the day-to-day transactional operations within the company, including Credit Control, Invoicing, Purchase Ledger, and Finance Administration.
• Ensure Team are maintaining and complying with internal controls and functions.
• Create monthly KPI with regard to Debtor Days and Creditor Days and conduct weekly meetings to identify any potential problems.
• Ensure Finance deadlines and timetables are adhered to.
• Work closely with Management Accountants to understand Management Accounts, support needed from Transactional Team and supporting information.
• Participation in Stock-takes quarterly.
• Review AP payments and AR receipts with Finance Manager weekly.
• Review and agree weekly payment run.
• Review Purchase Ledger invoices for accuracy, duplication, and coding.
• Review and authorise credit notes for all Midland companies.
• Track expenditure/overheads within business, conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
• Assist/Cover payment requests to Key Customers.
• Any Other Adhoc duties required.
• Involvement in new ERP system IFS training and support.
• Ensure monthly close operates in accordance with timetable and all reserves are prepared accurately and communicated to AMU management team.
• Authorising holiday and appointments for team in accordance with timetable.

Requirements:
• Good Excel knowledge to pivot/lookup level.
• Excellent management skills.
• Experience of working in fast paced environment.
• Good time management skills
