Financial Controller

Up to £70,000 per year

40 hours per week

MSX International is recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead and have operational responsibility for the UK Finance Department.

The Role

In this leadership role, the Financial Controller will be the Finance Business Partner to the UK Managing Director, and will provide decision support to Business leaders in the UK.

As part of this role, the Financial Controller will:

– manage the monthly reporting cycle

– manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for the UK and Ireland Business

– design, implement and monitor financial controls (internal controls) and systems to improve efficiency

– ensure all statutory and tax reporting is completed on time and accurately

– develop and lead procurement for the UK

– ensure the organisation is resourced with the appropriate skills, capabilities, systems, and processes to deliver the finance strategy successfully

– lead, motivate and develop the finance team in order to deliver an effective and efficient service

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great knowledge of accounting principles, and with proven experience as a finance leader, who can drive and motivate and diverse and multicultural team.

To be considered for this role candidates will have:

– an Accountant qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

– significant post qualification experience in the finance industry

– experience in supporting businesses outside of the UK

– strong systems and IT skills with an ability to innovate, learn and implement new systems

– the ability to effectively build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

– the ability to lead the finance function with gravitas and credibility

– the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve objectives
