Job Description
Tax manager required joining a growing Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Barnet. This is a full time, permanent opportunity. The Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing and preparing tax returns and providing tax consultancy and reviewing of complex tax issues.

Tax Manager Position Overview

Liaise with the tax supervisor to ensure all Returns are submitted by the January deadline,

Provide tax consultancy and review of complex tax issues.

Review Tax Returns as completed by the tax team and accounts team.

Prepare Tax Returns when necessary for sole traders, Partnerships and LLP's and high net worth individuals

Be involved with any HMRC enquiry as and when necessary.

Attending to phone calls and correspondence relating to clients.

Completing Time sheet daily.

Tax Manager Position Requirements

Ability to plan workloads, prioritise, and meet deadlines

High standard of English writing skills

At least 5 years' experience in a Practice Firm's Tax Department

Experience of a wide range of different tax returns

Software skills: Microsoft, IRIS

Tax Manager Position Remuneration

Salary £45,000 – £70,000

Annual leave 25 days per year, plus an extra day for every 3 years of additional service + a day off for your birthday

Quarterly social events

Dress-down Fridays.
