Job Description
SF are supporting a market leading organisation who have a best in practise Credit Control Team, a centre of excellence which supports their employees to develop new skills along side their studies and further into their Career. The organisation know that it's people are core to the business success and is why we are supporting them on 2 Credit Controller positions which are the result of growth, one in an internal promotion with the AR team and the other wider into the business in Finance.

The organisation are looking for all rounders, those who are strong cash collectors but also those who can manage their own ledgers, doing the sales ledger tasks around the day to day Credit control duties. Your role will involve:

Own and manage a ledger of specific accounts, made up of a mixture of customers from large PLCs to sole traders and limited companies
Proactive telephone collections chasing ahead of invoice and application for payment  due date. First point of contact resolution on any customer queries and disputes wherever possible.
All invoice queries and disputes to be resolved or logged for further investigation within 24 hours of receipt.
Liaise daily with key contacts in the business concerning dispute management and cash collection matters relevant to the region/business unit.
Actively contribute to daily huddle meetings to prioritise work and provide forum to problem solve issues with the team.
Comply with company policy and rules of business.
Provide relevant data and insight with regards status and performance of accounts which are assigned to you.
Ensure no unallocated cash older than 30 days.
Review limits on accounts and making commercial decisions on putting on and releasing from accounts on stop.

What you'll need

Experience within accounts receivable/Credit 2+ years
Strong communication & negotiation skills
Good systems and Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables)
Ability to prioritise work and work well in a team
Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
