About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Software Trainer to join us to support the growth in our Training team, based in our Crewe office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned NetSuite team with significant growth plans providing a platform to develop your career in a challenging and rewarding environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual to make a significant contribution to our training programmes. As well as being a motivating presenter with the ability to support learners in reaching their potential, you will have relevant experience, an interest in IT and ideally be qualified to degree level in an accounting or finance-related subject.

About the job

As part of this exciting role, you will:

* Play a full part in the developmental and administrative work of the training team

* Develop and deliver Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system training, including: preparation of demonstrations, presentations and training exercises; monitoring progress and evaluating trainee performance; and developing and preparing flexible learning materials

* Develop a high level of competency with the core ERP functionality

* Over time, develop a detailed functional understanding of specialist modules and use this knowledge to create new training courses

* Carry out other duties as assigned in line with the general responsibilities of the role

About the ideal candidate

You will be professional, presentable and self-motivated with a strong commitment to delivering a first-class training experience. We are looking for someone who is IT literate (MS Office), has excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

You need to have specific experience in the preparation and presentation of technical training courses, preferably related to software and/or accounting. This should include including creating assessments and evaluating training tasks. Your experience will have been gained in a professional working environment.

We need someone with good inter-personal skills, who has demonstrated the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Your ability to organise and complete work effectively will allow you to successfully prioritise tasks to meet competing demands and deadlines. You also need to be willing to learn and to share ideas within the training team.

* Business /finance /accounting related qualification at AAT or degree level

* Hands-on experience using an ERP system, ideally NetSuite

* Experience of working in the education sector as either a teacher, tutor or similar role

* Experience of delivering training for ERP, accounting or database software
