Derbyshire | Site Financial Controller | Flexible Working | Up to £60,000 + Bonus

Cherry Professional are currently exclusively supporting a global manufacturing business based in Ripley, Derbyshire in their search for a Site Financial Controller. You’ll be repotting into the Business Unit Financial Controller, and will have no direct reports/people management responsibility.
Partnering with the Senior Management Team, you’ll deliver insights into the financial impact of operational performance to enable them to measure and report on strategic initiatives aligned with their business and financial plan.

Who are they looking for?

– Relevant qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or Qualified by Experience
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and analyse data with accuracy, converting company goals into numbers
– Demonstrated ability to plan, work, and deliver towards objectives and key results
– Keen eye for detail, and use initiative to drive performance and improvements
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both finance and non-finance individuals, with the ability to craft precise information in both presentation and written formats.
– Advanced Excel skills Previous experience using SAP is desired.
– Experience working specifically in manufacturing and standard costing experience is essential
 
The Opportunity…

– In this role, you will assist with Capital Expenditure requests and have the ability to calculate payback and benefits while costing maintenance and creating costings for new products using a complex BOM.
– You will be responsible for producing robust forecasts and budgets, month-end closure in accordance with corporate deadlines and become the financial business partner for Operations Management Team.
