Job Description
Are you and experienced Purchase Ledger Controller or Accounts Assistant looking for a role with an incredibly successful and well established company in Manchester City Centre? Would you like to work in an exciting, high profile area of the music industry? This could be the role for you! Along with a salary of up to £26,000 they offer excellent working conditions and benefits that include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a Christmas bonus, subsidised car parking and a pension scheme.

What will you be doing as a Purchase Ledger Controller:
Working as part of a finance team in a high profile area of the music industry, you will be carrying out a varied ledger role. Duties will include:

Taking full responsibility for a busy purchase ledger
Checking and processing invoices, liaising with suppliers as required
Carrying out cost analysis of invoice
Completing BACS payment runs
Filing settlements
Collating costs for events in advance
Assisting in other area of the finance department as require including sales ledger and some general accounts administration work
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Previous strong experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant role
An understanding of input VAT
Comfortable with accounting software (Sage or Pegasus Opera) along with Excel and Outlook
A confident and supportive team member who can help where needed
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to prioritise and work to deadlines
Due to the office location, you will realistically need your own transport

A salary of £24,000 – £26,000, depending on experience
