Job Description
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a chartered accountancy firm who are known as being one of the best around the Hampshire area. They pride themselves on being the leading firm of chartered accountants and business and tax advisers in the region. They can offer a full range of in depth specialist skills throughout the business and have an excellent reputation in this market. Their staff retention is of a high level and the testimonials for the business really show how specialist they are. They are now seeking a senior business advisor/client portfolio manager to join the growing business, based within Southampton.
You will be employed as a permanent member of the team with the salary ranging between £50-£55k p/a DOE. Your day to day duties will include: maintaining strong relationships, communicating with clients and potential clients, managing a portfolio of clients in all respects (accounting, tax, audit), controlling of audits and accounts, meeting agreed deadlines, attending prospect meetings and identifying potential cross-selling opportunities.
You must have experience in a similar role within accounting and be able to clearly demonstrate your experiences. You must be reliable, professional, hardworking, show excellent communication skills and be highly organised. They are looking for somebody who is proactive and uses initiative to complete to deadlines on time or to exceed them where possible. You must be either ACCA/ACA qualified to be considered for this role.
