Job Description
Job title: Programme Analyst / PMO

Location: London

Duration: 6 Months

The Role:

Role is as part of a team working on global Legal Entity Rationalization programme. Client has over 1,000 entities globally, programme goal to reduce to 550 by 2025.

The programme has three work streams:

Central Delivery – Programme PMO function, Tracking Tool design and implementation, Design and documentation of the end to end entity lifecycle process and controls.
Entity Analysis – reviewing the entity population by business, type, region etc, in order to identify opportunities for closure and capture rationale for entities to be retained, along with an agreed next review date. Liaising with Business owners, COOs, Finance, Tax, Corporate Secretary and other stakeholders.
Rationalization Pipeline – accelerating closure of entities where agreement to close has been achieved by the Entity Analysis stream. Liaising with Corp Sec and external advisers.Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of legal entities to perform up front analysis on their activities, balance sheet and position in the legal entity hierarchy.
Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to assess whether entities may be closed or should be retained.
Agree next review date based on a periodic cycle or aligned to business roll off from an entity.
Capture status of the analysis, rationale to retain and entity and next review date in the Tracker Tool.
Suggest enhancements to the Tool, the programme approach and the end to end entity lifecycle as they arise.
Escalate issues that may impede the analysis to the Programme Lead.
Participate in programme working groups providing updates as required.Requirements:

Strong Familiarity with balance sheet
Knowledge of banking business
Finance industry background
Attention to details
Basic end user skills – Excel, Powerpoint
Good communication verbal and written
Good analytical and organizational capabilities
Identical client type – like-for-like experience in similar banks
Previous legal entity experience, accountancy experience, projects in legal entities PMO experience desired
Understanding of actions for the dissolutions of entities, bank account closures/legal contracts/as above etc
