An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SAP Master Data – Finance Lead to join the Master Data Team in GBS Finance Operations.

This role is the Finance Function Lead for SAP chart of accounts, master data and technical set up for SAP related Projects. It is a critical role in ensuring that the SAP chart of accounts and processes retain integrity, and acts as gatekeeper to changes on SAP. It is a technical role requiring RR specific knowledge of the SAP set up.

What you will be doing:

* Global subject matter expert and lead for SAP Finance systems, processes and master data.

* Create, design and maintain the master data: Profit Centres; Cost Centres; Chart of Accounts etc.

* Work with Group HFM team to manage changes on SAP side to chart of accounts mapping.

* Ensure the integrity of the Finance systems (managing errors in SAP mapping, etc).

* Manage the month end reporting routines and the year-end routines for all SAP entities.

* Perform adhoc projects to improve the data quality and integrity of chart of accounts (including reducing the number of bank accounts and ledger accounts).

* Be able to Identify and recommend solutions to gaps between systems functionality and the systems required to support mandatory processes and business needs.

* Part or fully qualified Accountant or equivalent, with Post Qualification Experience.

* Knowledge of SAP or other ERP Systems.

* Experience with Finance Shared Service Model.
