Job Description
Vitaflo International Ltd are currently looking for a meticulous Purchase Ledger Clerk to join us at our global head offices just outside of Liverpool City Centre. You will join us on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility to be made permanent), and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus fantastic benefits.
About the Purchase Ledger Clerk role:
As our Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be reporting directly to the UK Accounting Manager, and be responsible for ensuring the Purchase Ledger (suppliers & expenses) are maintained accurately, and supporting the overall finance function and the reporting of business performance.

What you will be doing as our Purchase Ledger Clerk:
Posting of invoices and Credit Notes to purchase ledger accounts, ensuring g copy of invoice / CN & indirect PO is attached
Reconciliation of supplier statements to ledgers and liaison with suppliers to resolve outstanding items
Payment of suppliers on a timely basis
Preparation and validation of monthly payment runs, including sending remittances to suppliers
Maintenance and verification of change in supplier details
Creation of new supplier accounts as required, ensuring that a competitive bidding process has been undertaken where required
Matching of direct purchases to goods received notes and purchase orders and querying any discrepancies in price or quantity
Administration and checking of the Certify expenses system, ensuring posting to Sage X3 and payment preparation
For internal and external audits, perform any walkthroughs requested by the auditors and provide any supporting documentation as requested
Proactive management of the purchase ledger and purchase order process to ensure potential blocks are resolved and allow invoices to be paid on time
What we are looking for in our Purchase Ledger Clerk:
Proven track record in a purchase ledger role, preferably in a manufacturing business
Maths & English GCSE, grades A-C
Knowledge of accounts system preferably Sage X3 or wide knowledge of multiple systems
German speaker preferable but not essential
