Role:                Sales Account Manager (inbound enquiries and renewals/ retentions)

Location:          Coventry (4 days in the office and 1 from home a week) 

Salary:             up to £28k DOE + bonus

Summary:

Do you have a strong desire and the skills needed to acquire new clients and build relationships? We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join an energy consultancy. In this role you will ensure that all contracts are renewed in a timely fashion, respond to inbound enquiries, oversee registration and confirmation of site additions, change of tenancies and rejections. To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years B2B energy sales experience, have a good understanding of energy and carbon markets, and have a proven track record of renewing, retention and selling to warm leads. Key responsibilities:

Ensure all contracts are renewed in a timely fashion
Ensure customer queries are resolved with the support of a sales analyst
All renewals and upsells to be recorded on SalesForce
Ability to present to customers on TEAMS and at site
Responsibility to oversee registration and confirmation of site additions, COTs and rejections
To liaise with different departments (Operations, Tendering, Finance and Corporate)
To produce reporting (with the support of an analyst) which will be relayed to managementSkills and experience required: 

A minimum of 2 years in sales B2B energy sector
A track record of either renewing, retention or selling into the energy markets
A good understanding of energy and carbon markets
Comfortable in working independently with a good level of creativity and innovation
Ability to consider, construct and develop sales relationships
Salesforce experience highly desirable
