Job Description
Job Title: Risk & MI Analyst

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + bonus + excellent bens

Type: Permanent

A dynamic and growing financial services business based in Nottingham is recruiting a Risk & MI Analyst to join their company on a permanent basis. The main focus of the role is to support the provision of the company's asset and liabilities related management information and also supporting the treasury and regulatory risk reporting.

Responsibilities:

As part of the treasury risk team, prepare regular monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory returns ready for internal review
To provide timely supply of all relevant management information for weekly and month end deadlines, including:
Analysis of balance sheet risk
Modelling of liquidity/ interest rate risk scenarios
Formal reports for ALCO
Interest rate and liquidity related regulatory returns
Analyse data movements compared to previous submissions and core data extracts to support accuracy of submissions
To support the Treasury Risk Manager in the maintenance and development of the regulatory reporting and treasury risk management system
Work closely with key teams across the business (treasury, financial reporting, Risk and IT) to understand data variances and resolve queries on data anomalies.

Experience and attributes required:

Experience working with data or MI in a Financial Services environment – Essential
Knowledge of management information production and data extraction – Essential
Experience of financial/regulatory reporting production – Desirable
Funding and liquidity management or ALM risk experience – Desirable
