Job Description
Job Title: Quality Assurance Assessor
Location: Fleet, with 2 days home working a week once probation has been passed.
Salary: Up to £35,000
Working hours: 35 hours. Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Our client is a Specialist Mortgage Lender who are in a high growth phase. They have 3 newly created opportunities for Quality Assurance Assessors to join the Legal and Compliance team and support their continued growth and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidates will carry out Quality Assurance Assessments and provide a high standard of professional, efficient customer service to all contacts. There will be responsibilities to accurately understand and assess policies, procedures, systems and controls, provide feedback to the business on the performance of systems and controls, and providing support to teams with feedback, trends and recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities for the position of Quality Assurance Assessor
Be able to identify where opportunities for improvements can be made at an individual, departmental and business level
Have a personal drive and passion for delivering high standards and positive results
Excellent communication skills and always ensuring the correct message has been delivered
Good attention to detail so that assurance activities and their findings are accurate
Handle internal and external queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent service
Work to agreed objectives, service standards and deliverables whilst adhering to company and departmental policies and procedures
Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments
Carry out routine assurance activities for all teams on company systems and controls and ensure impartiality at all times
Provide feedback from assurance activities to Team Leaders, Department Managers and staff outlining potential improvements, training needs, adherence to policy and procedures, trends and recognising where good performance has been achieved
Provide recommendations to management on where improvements to customer outcomes and experience can be made
Record assurance results for individuals and teams accurately and within SLA's
Ensure records are updated and maintained in accordance within agreed policy and procedures
Continually consider improvements for service and efficiency making suggestions through agreed channels
Apply all aspects of the desired consumer outcomes of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) and the Consumer DutyExperience required for the position of Quality Assurance Assessor
Two years' work experience in a financial service industry is an advantage, but not essential
Experience in quality assurance.
Enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn and develop a career in Financial Services
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential
Able to be self-managing in respect of scheduled workload
Passionate about service delivery
Confident self-starter with the ability to build positive relationships
