Financial Controller – Barton-upon-Humber – Highly competitive Salary, Bonus & Exceptional benefits package

Chase & Holland are delighted to be working  with a Barton-upon-Humber based client who is a large, well established multinational, fast growing company. Due to their rapid expansion and internal promotion, they require a highly competent, driven Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. Reporting into the VP for Finance this will be a hands-on position requiring the candidate to draw on their technical ability to produce financial and statutory accounts and the associated reports for UK & US divisions.

The Financial Controller role will include the following duties:      

Responsible for all group financial reporting across the UK & US divisions, including group consolidation
Leading a team of financial professionals to enable the facilitation of accurate inputting, reporting, monitoring, and processing of all aspects of finance
Full balance sheet responsibility across various UK divisions
Managing year end and statutory accounts, including narrative, interpretation, and recommendations
Budgets and rolling monthly forecasting
Review controls and processes, identifying and improving processes which require re-engineering
Improve reporting, analysis of KPI's and analytical review of financial and non financial returns to ensure accuracy and consistency
To ensure all VAT and Tax obligations are fully met, on time and in line with statutory requirements
Undertake project work as requiredThe ideal candidate:    

Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant
Technically strong including statutory reporting and financial controls (Ideally top 10 trained)
Strong excel skills and exposure working with ERP systems     
Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers
