Job Description
Our client, a dynamic global brand, with an entrepreneurial culture and commitment to professional development and a flexible environment, is looking to source a credible and charismatic Head of Commercial Finance to join its talented team.

Acting as a key senior finance leader for your area of commercial finance, the role will be responsible for the continued development of this commercial finance team, encouraging them to develop their skills and progress in the wider finance function. The role will require a high level of business partnering and candidates must be capable of challenging and influencing at a senior level.

* Leading a team of 5 with 3 direct reports, creating a best in class environment to work in and setting a clear vision for your team
* Developing other through coaching, objective setting and feedback
* Accountable for your team delivering month end reporting, budgeting and regular forecasting to maintain strong cost control
* Developing strong business partnering relationships cross-functionally
* Supporting your team to supervise, review and challenge leadership about the budget and cost control process
* Leading the team to identifying opportunities for efficiencies, improvements and alignments with other finance areas

Key experience and skill set required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Examples to date of leading and developing a high performing team and shows a real passion for nurturing talent
* Exceptional communication skills and proven influencing ability, both upwards and down, capable of managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders
* Highly analytical, with strong adaptability in a fast-moving environment
* A proactive and inquiring mind, always looking towards process improvement
* Proven track record in a senior commercial finance role ideally in a retail/fmcg/consumer facing environment would be preferred
