Job Description
Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator on a part-time basis based in Luton for a fresh food manufacturing company.

Summary of the Payroll Administrator role…

Salary: £15,300  
Location:  Luton
Type of Contract: Permanent, Part time
Hours: Monday – Wednesday 8:00am – 4:00pm

The role…

As the Payroll Administrator your role will involve the following important duties:

Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure timely coordination of payroll and benefits data on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure monthly and weekly payroll is sent on time each month/week.
Monitor holidays and absences for HR records.
Calculate total hours for weekly paid employees on a daily basis.
Input data onto HRIS.
Answer any payroll queries.
Populate the amendments sheet with new starters, employee info changes, fit notes, SSP, SMP SPP Pension etc.
No payroll processing. 
The experience required…

As a successful Payroll Administrator you will have the following:

Good understanding of payroll processes with 1-2 years experience in a similar role previously. 
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint. 
Experience in using HRIS.
Accuracy skills.
