My client a passionate and successful company are looking for a part qualified or experienced accountant to join and manage all financial aspects of an exciting project. If you have experience of project work and are adaptable to changes throughout the lifecycle this could be the role for you.
Duties:
Verify all costings for initiatives against benchmark
Carry out financial due diligence on clients for scheme eligibility
Financial responsibility for monthly reporting for all numerical data internally & externally
Manage project cashflow actual & projections
Preparation of internal & external financial management reporting
Internal financial control including Sage 200 reconciliations
Skills and experience required:
Part Qualified Accountant / QBE
Experience with a Project based role
Experience of project accounting
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a small team
Hands on Approach to financial management
Good knowledge and understanding of Excel and databases
Excellent verbal communicator
Strong English writing skills
Motivated by results and exceeding expectations of clients and customers
Ability to assimilate information rapidly
The confidence to 'self-start' and make swift progress in adopting procedures and practices
Good attention to detail
Ability to prioritise own work load
Ability to accurately follow instructions
Proactive and good team player
Diplomatic and able to communicate with customers
