An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join an Accountants in Manchester on a Permanent basis. 

About the company

Due to a sustained period of growth, generated from the success of their existing team, they are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Payroll / Payroll Manager to join the Manchester City Centre office. This is a permanent role and are looking for somebody with the right experience and qualities to take the payroll department forwards

About the role

Based in the Manchester, you will be responsible for: 

Clear oversight of the largest payrolls we operate to ensure they are completed efficiently whilst ensuring the required level of client service is met.
 Ensuring all deadlines of the department are met with the management of workflow set across all staff members.  
Working with the clients to improve existing processes, flow of information and delivery of required information in given timelines.
Taking the lead on client queries, whilst delegating to the team wherever possible, but ensuring a timely resolution on anything out of the norm.
Onboarding new clients with the adoption of best practice from the outset to ensure delivery and service is paramount.
Upskilling junior staff members to aid with delivery and best practice across the department.
It's for you to make the role your own and be the first person for our senior management team to lean on with that

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

Natural leadership skills.
Be Super organised.
Be able to build strong working relationships with our clients.
Be able to upskill others in the team.
