FP and A Senior Analyst
  
Start: ASAP
Location: hybrid working, Beckton E6
Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE

An opportunity for a proactive, solution-minded individual to work for an exciting, expanding Finance team for our client

The role will partner with the wider finance team and the sales and operating teams across the business.

The chosen candidate will be provided with full training and will learn how the business operates.
 
Principal Tasks:

·       Partner with key stakeholders across the business to improve and build, analyse and provide insights on the reported data
·       Enable the profit and cost centre owners to understand and manage their P&L and capex expenditure through comprehensive reporting and discussion
·       Think creatively to identify possible solutions to take advantage of the opportunities
·       Use judgement to identify risks and opportunities and escalate to CFO and profit and cost centre owners
·       Lead the Budget and Forecasting processes
·       Support Chief Operating Officer in a comprehensive understanding of the operational cost base
·       Calculate and review internal and external commissions
    
Requirements:
·       A positive attitude for change with the ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them
·       Advanced use of Excel; including index match, look-ups and pivot tables
·       Analytical approach and strong attention to detail
·       High level of accuracy & numeracy
·       Dedicated team player but with a high degree of independent judgment
·       Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise duties & work effectively under pressure
·       Solid ability in both written and verbal communication
 
Desirable
·       Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
·       Experience in financial reporting
·       Aspiration to progress career as an accountant
