HMRC, pensions schemes (Creative Pension), payroll colleagues in other countries in WE, Payroll, tax and pensions networks, DWP, HR Information System provider, Payroll system Provider

Purpose of the role:

AssistandsupoortthePayrollTeaminprovidingaprofessionalandresponsivePayrollservicetocustomers both internally and

Externally by adhering to defined service level agreements and statutory requirements, ensuring accurate payment every month.

Payroll Job Purpose:

Processes the company’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Creates and maintain employees' payroll records. Calculations wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records. Enter payroll information into central system for processing. Issues employees' checks and earnings summaries. Completes payroll reports.

Payroll Job Duties:

* Processes company's payroll every pay period

* Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data

* Computes employees take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes

* Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records

* Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences

* Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles

* Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law

* Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records

* Honours confidentiality of employees' pay records

* Completespayrollreportsforrecord-keepingpurposesormanagerialreview

* Determinescompany'staxobligationsbycalculatingNationalInsurancecontributions

* Performs the distribution of wages through issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts

* Supervises other payroll clerk sand employees as needed
