Job Description
Overview:
Northreach have partnered with one of the fastest-growing and innovative alternative funding FinTech’s in London! Based out of Holborn, they are on the hunt for a Team Lead to oversee and support to undertake quality assurance in the Lending function.
This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing and working within the lending sub-team to manage the accurate allocation of all repayments for the products on offer. You will ensure all international payment deadlines are met, whilst supporting the rest of the team to meet their KPI’s and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the point of contact for all funding/lending related queries
* Daily execution of cash advances, in line with the agreed cut off points
* Examine and accurately resolve payment exceptions
* Liaise with colleagues and partners to resolve issues efficiently, to minimise service/client impact
* Develop and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the payments platform
* Strive for consistent improvement and development of the Operations team – identifying the need for training, coaching process improvement and provide recommendations to management as required
* Audit and monitor executives work to ensure high quality and efficient results.
* Conduct quality control of the Lending team as needed
* Contribute to evolving individual and Operational team objectives, running tactical strategies to meet goals as required
* Coordinate with the Operations team leads in the development of training, resources and policy and procedure documents
* Support management when necessary to manage team members’ performance and/or personnel issues
Requirements:
* Working knowledge and experience of AML procedures
* 1+ years of supervisory or management experience in a payments or back office environment.
* 3+ years of experience within financial services
* Flexible approach, with the ability to pick up new skills and systems quickly
* Motivated to deliver to uncompromising quality requirements and production expectations
* Competent in using computers, including a high level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office packages
* Able to work independently, take initiative and adapt to change
* Strong processing, problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse large quantities of data, decipher risk attributes and handle them appropriately
* Confident communicator at all levels
* Able to multi-task and thrive in a busy environment
* Able to act urgently by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities
* Able to deal with highly confidential information appropriately
