Job Description
We are currently supporting a fast-paced manufacturing business in Colchester with the recruitment of an interim Financial Controller.  Our client is looking for a specialist interim to support the finance function whilst a permanent appointment is made over the next three to five months.  However, candidates who are seeking a temporary to permanent assignment would be considered.
 
Alongside managing a small finance function, the successful individual will be responsible for producing monthly and quarterly financial information, delivering accurate budgeting and forecasting data and variance analysis.
 
Ideally candidates will have a manufacturing background and be fully qualified (although qualified by experience candidates will be considered).  Based primarily in our client’s Colchester offices with the potential for occasional flexible working.
 
Strong systems knowledge in particular knowledge of Excel is essential.  Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience of adding value straight away and being adaptable.  This is a pivotal role within the business, supporting the leadership team.
