Following an internal promotion orbit has a fantastic opening for an Assistant Accountant to join the Customer & Communities Business Partnering Team in Coventry. This role is a great opportunity for a self-starter who wants to enhance and develop a career in Housing and Finance.
The Customer & Communities Business Partnering Team is a vital, value adding part of Orbit Finance.  We use business acumen and soft skills to bring financial reports to life for the operational Business Partners. Our performance allows the business to realise its potential and make the best business decisions that it can.  

As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for a number of key duties around managing data processing, implementing process improvements, reconciling accounts, compiling financial reports, maintaining the integrity of data, and providing information to support the business decisions.

Maintaining relationships with customers is a significant part of the role, ensuring on-going support and assistance is provided.

What will help you make a difference.

This role is suited to a candidate with excellent organisational and time management skills. A good understanding of accounting with a part qualification is desirable. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential as is experience of Microsoft Office.

Having the ability to work well in a team and solve intricate problems will help the candidate stand out. We are looking for a proactive individual who can prioritise tasks, manage workload and meet deadlines.
