Our centralised Marketing function?

The role of Marketing Partner is an important role that involves being the conduit between the needs of your business line and the Group Marketing capability. This will involve partnering with your business line as a true Marketing and Business Area SME to obtain a clear view of their objectives, their customer, specific needs and then integrating that into our Group Marketing plan.

This role can be based in our Manchester, Reading or Cardiff office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

As a true Marketing Partner – You will be the go-to person for all things Marketing in the Business Area
You will work with key stakeholders in the business lines to define the business requirements for each business facing campaign
Once formulated across Group Marketing you will clearly articulate marketing campaign ideas to key stakeholders through well thought out presentations
Work across the team to develop, plan and manage the delivery of business line marketing activity that supports the aspirations and strategy of the Group and associated KPIs
Establish a close relationship with the business line teams to understand products, processes and customer facing systems, gain insight, gain sponsorship and resolve any ad-hoc issues that may occur
Ensure your business line teams have the necessary marketing support, collateral and tools to meet the objectives of their role
Represent Group Marketing within your business line meetings to offer recommendations and support to ensure products, regulatory requirements, campaigns and offers are delivered to our customers in the optimum way
Provide clear briefs and targets for the Marketing Acquisition team, manage the sign off of the Campaign and channel plan for your Business line, ensuring comms remain relevant and accurate
Work closely with the In Life Marketing Manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the in-life plan
Be part of a high performing team that recognizes and exploits opportunities across every business line & collectively deliver against their objectives in a positive, constructive and collaborative manner
Maintain up to date knowledge of the regulatory and legislative landscapeWhat do we expect of you?

You will be a strong and articulate communicator with a broad understanding of marketing practises
An understanding of financial services regulation is essential either in property or mortgages
Strong relationship management and influencing skills to drive and maintain engagement with the business lines whilst balancing the broader Group priorities
Considerable experience of devising, planning and delivering a wide range of marketing strategies and campaigns
A passionate leader who knows how to build and inspire a world-class team; someone who leads by example, getting involved in the detail when required
Committed to delivering campaigns that provide us with a competitive edge over others
Strong communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to engage & influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
Detail focused with the ability to look ahead, raise issues, provide solutions and hit deadlines
