Job Description

Our client, a highly regarded, established and very reputable Independent IFA, is looking for a new Paraplanner for their team, you will have completed your Level 4 Diploma and have previous demostrable experience in a Paraplanner role. You will be liaising with the Advisors and Administration team to ensure that work is completed in accordance with company procedures. You will communicate extensively with clients throughout the advice process, helping to manage the client relationship so you will enjoy working with clients.

You will also be performing analysis on client's investment portfolios, designing bespoke wealth management solutions to meet your client's objectives and goals, so excellent attention to detail and accuracy is key. You will have effective time management, prioritising and taking proactive responsibility for your own workload. You will have proficient IT skills with the ability to learn and use various back-office systems and platforms.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

Assisting the financial adviser with formulating the advice to the client including undertaking market research, completing suitability report and providing analysis of investment funds and financial projects for clients
Preparing financial plans, and presenting projections for clients
Ensuring work is completed to agreed SLA's
Maintain client records, and update client information to ensure an active audit trail
 Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will be a DipFA or CII qualified Paraplanner with demonstrable experience
You will possess excellent client relationship and communication skills
You will also be a good problem solver, proactively look to learn constantly and have a great standard of financial knowledge
