Job Title: Operational Resilience Analyst
Location: Either the London, Cardiff, Uxbridge or Manchester office. Onsite for the first month then based in the office 2 days per week thereafter.
Salary: On Application
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am-5.30pm

Our client is a Specialist Mortgage Lender who are rapidly growing and expanding their business. They have an exciting new position available for an experienced candidate to join the team as a Business Continuity & Operational Resilience Analyst.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate and support continuous development, embedding and to
manage the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience programme. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including key business areas to understand and analyse BCP/OR needs across the business.
You will instil best practice to ensure continuous compliance to regulations, and internal policies. The role will always require a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities for the role of Operational Resilience Analyst
Support the delivery of the business resilience framework, confirming that it is embedded across the organisation and in line with regulatory obligations
Producing documentation in line with the Operational Resilience Programme of work ensuring People, Process, Technology, Supplier, and Facilities dependencies are documented. e.g., impact tolerances, process mapping and vulnerabilities
Working with departments to update BIAs. Annual review of BCP and OR Policies and supporting documents.
Working collaboratively with multiple departments, across the business (such as Claims, Ops, Digital) to ensure all necessary documentation and actions are completed.
Performing scenario testing and crisis exercise across all IBS to assess current state and identify vulnerabilities that feed the ongoing remediation plans.
Ensuring the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience MI packs are prepared, internally reviewed, and submitted in a timely manner.
Supporting the relevant committees to govern the function; the relevant training programmes and exercises are planned to ensure awareness and the relevant MI exists to demonstrate effective management.
Promoting effective oversight across the group's resilience framework
Support the production of annual self-assessment of operational resilience work performed within the Operational Resilience area
Engage with Risk on the identification, monitoring, managing, and reporting of emerging risks/environment scanning that can affect the firm's operational resilienceExperience required for the role of Operational Resilience Analyst
Knowledge of Operational Resilience or Business Continuity
Good awareness of the financial services regulatory environment and regulations
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams experience
Experience facilitating and leading meetings/workshops
Strong analytical skills, ability to produce MI and reports, and report and present findings
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses, key support functions, and decision makers across the business
Excellent communication skills to create and deliver clear and concise written or verbal reports
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when producing work
Excellent multitasking and organisation skills
The ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and to prioritise workloads.
Self-assured – be able to confidently request, challenge and amend information as necessary
The ability to work as a team member as well as being able to work under own initiative
Knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks, risk, and compliance
