Deputy Payroll Manager
This role is for a group of companies, working in a central services function, where there is currently around 6 people in the payroll department.
Within the group there are 2 x weekly payrolls, each of 1000+ employees each. There are 4 x monthly payrolls, ranging between 25 and 50 staff each.
This role would initially each take ownership of 1 weekly payroll, 2 monthly payrolls, with 2 reporting payroll administrators.
It is all in house, full end to end UK payroll services, 99% of the employees are PAYE. So full end to end payroll knowledge is required.
We are interested in Senior Payroll Administrators or Payroll Supervisors looking for a step into management, or a Payroll Manager interested in a role like this.
Salary expectations are £30k-£40k additionally, their is a discretionary bonus.
For anyone who wishes to have support provided for a payroll qualification, this would also be available.
The hours are 8am-4pm or 8:30-4:30pm, or 9am-5pm. Due to the supervisory nature this role is office based, although there are facilities to work remotely on occasion as required.
Annual leave begins at 25 days + stat and rises with time served up to 30 days + stat. Additionally your birthday is offered as a annual leave.
The pension is 4.5% matched, plus there is a healthcare scheme.
