Job Description
Management Accountant

Location: Romford, Essex

We have an opportunity for a fully qualified or qualified by experience accountant to join the Romford team of a global organisation that operates in the international trade and development sector. ~They are looking for someone with international accounts experience.

You will be responsible with supporting the finance department and the Group Financial Controller as well as assist with decision making.

They are a very successful medium-sized company (less than 500 employees worldwide) and the role is fully office based, Monday – Friday 09:00 to 17:30. Potential for hybrid working from January 2023.

Duties of the role:

Assisting in the preparation of the monthly consolidated Group management accounts.
Providing support to Head Office Accounts team with the managing and accounting of our 6 overseas entities at month-end, quarterly reviews, etc.
Reconciling and agreeing, on a monthly basis, intercompany accounts across the group.
Production of the detailed local monthly accounts with analysis, comments, and recommendations.
Carrying out monthly NGL balance sheet reconciliations and reviews, correcting any omissions or errors covering Philippines, Guinea, and Mozambique.
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns & annual P11D's to meet filing deadlines.
Assisting with the preparation of the annual consolidated Group budget and 3-year forecast.Benefits include:

Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) OR relevant experience in consolidated accounts and accounting for overseas entities.
Competent with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
