Job Description
Radar Recruitment are supporting a familiar local business in their search for a new Purchase Ledger Clerk, reporting into management you will be responsible for processing a high volume of purchase invoices for a variety of suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Checking, authorising, and posting all invoices
* Manage multi-currency purchase ledgers
* High level of queries to deal with chasing up suppliers for credits and answers.
* Raising disputes with suppliers and obtaining correct credit notes
* Checking and reconciling all supplier statements on a regular basis.
* Preparing weekly payment runs via online banking system. Setting up templates, payments and posting cash and invoice allocation after authorisation of the run.
Profile:
* Must have sound previous Purchase ledger experience and used to dealing with high volumes and weekly deadlines
* High standard of MS Office experience as using Adobe, Excel and Outlook
* Must be Excel competent to a level of using pivot table and data handling with vlookup, sumif, etc formulas
* Exposure to an operational environment would be useful, product-based, logistics, manufacturing, retail etc.
* Sound IT skills, including MS Office.
* Must have own transport due to location of office
* Attention to detail is paramount
* Conscientious, persistent, professional approach
* Thinks flexibly, accepts change and guidance when given
* Must be a team player and be able to cover others
On Offer:
* £23k – £25k
