Job Description
Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Benefits: 26 days holiday plus bank holidays + free under cover parking + company pension scheme + private healthcare + Humber Bridge tolls paid if required

OVERVIEW:
This is a great opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA Management Accountant to join a long established, successful Hull company with an entrepreneurial culture and a national presence.
THE ROLE:
Working closely with the Head of Finance the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Production of monthly management accounts including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow, completion of balance sheet reconciliations, analysis of monthly costs
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, preparation of divisional accounts, supporting the production of annual financial statements and provision of information for audit
Preparation, review and submission of quarterly VAT returns, maintenance of internal systems and controls, assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecast
Preparation of data for external stakeholders
THE CANDIDATE:
You are a CIMA/ACCA qualified Management Accountant with demonstrable experience in the required areas of the job description. Resilient and with a keen eye for detail, you enjoy working as part of an established team and are able to meet deadlines, communicate effectively and have excellent analytical and investigative skills.
Candidates should reside within a commutable area of Hull as the role is based in the office 5 days per week, however free under cover parking is provided and Humber Bridge toll costs are offered for those living on the south Humber bank.
Previous experience of managing a small team is desirable but not essential as the Head of Finance is willing to retain this element of the role.
