Job Description
An exciting Payroll Manager position has recently become available at an extremely successful business based in Haslingden. The business has seen soaring growth due to acquisitions and large scale expansion and will be looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis with the idea to transition into a permanant role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong and forward-thinking Finance department as a Payroll Manager. Key Areas of responsibility:

Payroll:

Daily administration within HRM System in relation to time management, starters and leavers and amendments
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of Weekly Payroll for 170 employees and Monthly Payroll for 85 employees using the HRM System with Sage 50 Payroll
Prepare and issue P11ds, P60s and P45s as appropriate
Liaise closely with colleagues in the finance department ensuring that monthly reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
Responding to payroll queriesFinance:

Carry out Purchase Ledger Duties as and when required
To undertake any duties to support the finance team as required by the Financial ControllerThe Person:

Ability to deal with high volumes of work at peak periods
Adaptable to business requirements within set deadlines
Ability to set out priorities
Positive, problem solving and can-do attitude
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Accurate and eye for detailKnowledge, Training and Experience required:

Sage 50 Cloud payroll experience
HRM or Time and attendance system management to get reports necessary for payroll
Management and processing of all communication to HMRC, Pension Providers and other statutory and pension scheme bodies. Keep up to date with relevant regulations /legislation
Keep up to date with relevant regulations / legislation. Ensuring that data is managed in line with GDPR regulations
