Job Description
Axon Moore are working exclusively with a Leeds based Plc who are looking to recruit an interim Tax Manager for 6 months.

Report to the Group Financial Controller, they will be responsible for all Tax & VAT matters across the business. They will be engaged with a high growth business environment with an operational and business partnering element to the role being crucial. The role will be highly visible as they will head up any internal and external relationships with advisors and HMRC and have close proximity to the leadership team.

As the Tax Manager you will have the following expertise;
• Strong technical tax skills with up to date knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax legislation
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical matters to non-technical partners
• Good relationship building skills, able to engage with colleagues up to exec level
• Be systems and process driven, the role doesn’t have any direct reports so will be hands on

This role would suit an immediately available Tax specialist with experience of a large, fast paced business. Although it would be ideal if you were local, consideration will be given for a largely remote working.  Candidates must be technically strong (ideally from an CTA/ACA/ACCA Big4/Top10 background)
