Insurance Administrator
We are a small independent Chartered Insurance Brokers who specialise in charity and community based insurance. We pride ourselves on giving the best possible service to our clients rather than being sales or target driven.
We have a vacancy for an insurance administrator to join our small and close working team based in Southampton City Centre during a very exciting time for our company. The position is a full time role which will mainly involve communicating with clients and insurers by telephone, email and letter about new and existing policies and any claims that arise. Some other admin type work and general office duties will also be required.
This role would be ideal for a college leaver or someone at the start of their career and so previous office experience is not essential. Instead, we are looking for someone who:
* Has a confident telephone manner
* Has good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail
* A strong customer focus with a friendly and approachable attitude
* Is able to use own initiative but work as part of a team
We will give the successful individual the opportunity for career progression, including support to obtain insurance qualifications if desired.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
