The role
This would be an excellent opportunity a VAT specialist who is ambitious, open minded and looking to drive the group forwards.
As the Group continues to grow, the impact of indirect taxes becomes increasingly important, and a robust management of such processes is critical to the ensuring that the Group remains fully compliant in all territories.
Understanding the global supply chain and the tax implications arising will give the successful candidate unrivalled knowledge of a complex retail operation and how to manage relationships with Tax Authorities (primarily UK but across Europe and the rest of the world).
The Group is committed to developing and promoting talent based on performance and there are clear opportunities for progression in the short-to-medium term.
The person
At least one-year post-qualification experience in UK VAT (Retail sector preferable but not essential)
ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification required or qualified via experience in VAT
Approachable, co-operative and collaborative
Keen to develop and have a ‘constant improvement’ mindset
