Ashley Kate Finance are delighted to be supporting a global logistics company, based in London as they look to recruit for a Head of Global Accounting.

Interim role for 12 – 18 months, located in London, hybrid working, salary of circa £120,000, including a fantastic benefits package.

Reporting to the VP of Global Finance, and managing a team of 3 direct reports – this role will be responsible for managing and ensuring delivery on the implementation of the financial accounting and reporting agenda across the globe. Duties will include:

Delivery of Group financial statements and closure of Group audit in a timely manner
Management of the monthly financial reporting cycles
Responsible for accounting advisory services both routine and M&A and ensuring these are accounted for and consolidated appropriately in a timely manner
Responsible for reporting the compliance of the Group's covenants to external stakeholders
Responsible for closing gaps identified in any internal or external audits as well as third party reviews within a reasonable time frame
Articulate system development requirements to Head of Finance Systems, challenging status quo to drive process and technology enhancements to deliver efficiencies
Manage relationships with key parties including internal and external auditors, Group shareholders, Group consultants and senior stakeholders across the globe, where required
Manage and motivate direct reports including ensuring appropriate training, development and succession planning
