Job Description
HEAD OF FINANCE| CHARITY |PART TIME 25-30 HOURS | HYBRID WORKING | £45,000 PRO RATA
 
Are you a Qualified Accountant OR have many years’ experience of Charity accounts?  Are you looking for a part-time role where the organisation you work for cares about the lives of others?  Are you looking to work in a friendly, collaborative environment?  Then this may be the role that ticks all of those boxes.
 
Cherry Professional are exclusively working with a National Charity with its national support team  based in the centre of Nottingham.  The role has flexible hours so can work around childcare or family commitments but at the same time this post will be the most senior in the office reporting into the Chief Executive.
 
Role Purpose
The main purpose of the Head of Finance role is to make sure the charity has the Finance, Payroll and IT services necessary to deliver its mission and achieve its strategic goals.  You will be supported by an Accounts Assistant but in essence be responsible for all Finance related matters including preparation of the management and financial accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, tax and liaison with the auditors etc. There is also an element of compliance and company secretarial duties.  This person will also attend Board meetings and represent the Finance function at the meetings.
 
Who the Client is looking for…

You will be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or be QBE with Charity experience
Have experience in financial management and interdepartmental budgeting
Want to work for a charity organisation that improves people’s lives
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise at all levels
Organisation, time management skills and attention to detail
