Head of Business Analysis – The Role:

This is an exciting new role for Trust Payments that will own end to end business analysis and reporting across the Trust client lifecycle, from prospecting to CRM to churn. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering analytics and reporting solutions across functions and lifecycle stages. The successful candidate will be expected to partner across the data team (infrastructure, architecture, and data science) as well as the wider business including sales, account management and operations. The Head of Business Analysis will also be tasked with providing thought leadership and content to support and inform third parties.

Head of Business Analysis – Key Responsibilities:

– Create and curate a central metric repository to drive consistency and alignment across all aspects of the Trust business and deliver a common lexicon for business performance

– Partner with the data science team to deliver new reporting and commercial products for the Trust retail, loyalty and web businesses

– Partner with the infrastructure and architecture teams to leverage the newly built AWS data lake and warehouse

– Manage third party suppliers and liaise with account managers (e.g. Tableau) to ensure Trust is benefitting from current technology and generating value for money

– Ideate and build data products for use across the Trust Payments enterprise in partnership with technologies and the Data Science team

– Partner across the data, technology and operations teams to instill a data-driven culture at Trust Payments

Head of Business Analysis – You:

Essential:

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another relevant field

– Proven people leadership skills

– Minimum of 5 years demonstrated leadership experience in data analytics roles, with strong proficiency in SQL (MySQL/Postgres) and Python

– Proven experience in data analysis and management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

– A demonstrable track record of proactively identifying and creating value in data

– Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate complex data and analytical concepts into clear business language to senior stakeholders

– Experience within product-centric organisations

Desirable:

– Experience in financial services, ideally payments (gateways, acquiring and processing)

– Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, especially databasing (RDS, Redshift, Aurora)

– Graph and relational database expertise

– Working across a matrix environment including sales and operations
