Robert Walters are delighted to be recruiting for a Group Financial Controller position based in Watford with a SME business, circa £80-90 mill TO. Consolidation experience; P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow is essential, 10 entities.

Circa £75,000 – 80,000 salary, bonus and hybrid.

Robert Walters are delighted to be recruiting for a Group Financial Controller position based in Watford with a SME business, circa £80-90 mill TO. The Group Financial Controller will manage the group consolidation using Hyperion; 10 entities, multi-currency, FRS 102, managing month end and reporting deadlines.

The Role:

This Group Financial Controller based in Watford with hybrid working will be responsible for:

Monthly consolidation for multi-currency overseas subsidiaries into Group Accounts
Review and variance analysis of subsidiary results
Control inter-company and intra-company reporting
Reporting Group results to Group FM and CFO with commentary
Management and consolidation of other group reports
Preparation of group management packs
Report and analyse key metrics and KPIs
Communicating with subsidiaries to ensure efficiency and deadlines are met
Preparation and consolidation of group budgets – subsidiary input packs, their review, analysis, consolidation and presentation
Prepare quarterly management packs at Group and entity level for review at Quarterly Performance Reviews
Liaise and assist in Group and UK year end audit including group consolidation, statutory adjustments and preparation of statutory accounts and disclosure for the audited group accounts.Profile:

We are looking for an ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant with several years group consolidation (at (least 2 years) experience; multiple entites,multi-currency, FRS 102, managing subsidiaries month end and reporting deadlines. Knowledge of Hyperion is an advantage but not essential.

On Offer:

A highly competitive salary of circa £75,000 – £80,000 plus bonus based in Watford and with hybrid working.
