Finance Team Lead – Accounts Payable | St. Albans | Permanent| £28-30K

We are recruiting a Finance Team Lead on behalf of our St Albans based client, who are a global Technology business, who are looking for an experienced Finance Team Lead to join their fast-paced and friendly Accounts Receivable Team. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, with the flexibility to make this a more hybrid position once a successful probationary period has been passed

The Basics:

*

Leading a diverse team

*

Delegate workload to the Accounts Payable team

*

Action any queries that require Team Leader support whether from Accounts Payable Team or general staff emails

*

Open Accounts Payable document reports

*

Construct new processes for the team when required

*

Prepare documents for month end and submit to Finance Supervisor and Financial Controller

*

Analysis exchange rates for bank accounts

*

Make any necessary stock corrections

*

Analysis of gross profit

*

Prepare and answer audit queries as and when necessary

The skills needed:

*

Background working as a lead in Accounts Payable

*

Has financial qualifications or is currently working towards them and has experience with leading a team

*

Creativity, decision making and judgment skills

*

Adaptable, organised and able to work in a fast paced team

*

Accounts experience is an advantage

*

Intermediate Excel skills

Requirements:

*

GCSE Mathematics and English: A to C grades

*

Advice computer skills

*

Calm, confident personal with the ability to handle difficult conversations
