Job Description
My client is looking to recruit a part time Finance & Payroll Administrator on an initial 3 month, fixed term contract.

The role of Finance & Payroll Administrator is to administer the payroll for approximately 350 staff ensuring the smooth running of a timely and accurate monthly payroll for employees.

The role will entail updating the payroll data for all monthly changes to the payroll including leavers, starters, overtime, SSP/SMP and checking the payroll file once it has been returned from the payroll provider to ensure that the data is correct prior to payment of the monthly salaries.

In addition, the role will also comprise assisting the Finance team with the implementation of Sage and the HR payroll module, transactional accounting, variance analysis, provision of Management Information, Accounts Payable (post Sage implementation, control accounts, reconciliations, analyses and general accounting duties.

This is a part time role spread ideally over three days Tuesday – Thursday but can also offer some remote working once trained.

In return, you will be given a basic salary between £25,000 – £27,000 per annum, pro rata.
