Job Description
Our client is an award-winning, market leading manufacturing business and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Management Accountant to take responsibility for all aspects of the accounts function.
Responsibilities Include
* Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts to deadlines
* Management of a small team of accounts and administration staff.
* Preparation of salaries and wages on a monthly basis.
* Monitoring the company bank accounts and arranging payments to suppliers
* Preparation / submission of VAT/PAYE returns
Candidate Profile
* Qualified / Part Qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
* Background in manufacturing would be advantageous
* Able to ensure robust controls and operations are maintained, while acting as key support to Finance Director.
* The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues and peers, excellent knowledge and understanding of finance systems.
