Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Cardiff for a Finance Manager/Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The postholder will develop and maintain a strong financial control environment for all operations, which in turn will enhance and improve associated governance structures and the overall programme delivery framework. They will develop and implement, robust and timely financial reporting framework which proactively identify areas of business risk and produce relevant and meaningful mitigation plans. The postholder will also prepare and review monthly management accounts including comparison against budget, future forecasts and providing commentary and variance analysis.

Ideal Candidate

CCAB Part Qualified or AAT Qualified
Experience of working in a Local Government or Public Sector finance environment
Experience of preparing financial reports, budget monitoring and undertaking reconciliations
Experience of working with stakeholders to provide relevant information and evaluation
