Job Description
Construction company are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take over the finance department in this standalone role based in Birmingham. You will be tasked with the preparation of the monthly and yearly accounts, provide management information to the directors alongside payroll and other HR duties as and when needed. The Ideal candidate will have a background working within construction whilst also working within a similar role previously but looking for the next step.

Finance Manager Position Overview

Production of Monthly Management accounts in a timely manner

Regularly liaise with accountant and production of year end accounts and audit preparation

Preparing VAT returns

Implementation of new procedures within the accounting function

R&D tax credits

Sub contract and CIS

Weekly / monthly payroll

Human Resources (Offers, Employment Contracts, Holiday etc.)

Finance Manager Position Requirements

Experience in a similar role previously

Construction experience essential

SME background

Can use Sage package

Currently working under an FD and looking for opportunity to progress

ACCA/ACA/CIMA or part qualified are encouraged to apply

Finance Manager Position Remuneration

Office based position

Circa £45k salary dependent on experience

Share scheme introduced if targets are hit

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
