Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a progressive and forward-thinking business as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their team, initially on a 12 month fixed term contact.

The Finance Business Partner will work cross-functionally with the wider team liaising with senior management including business partners and being part of budgeting and forecasting meetings – enabling you to gain a commercial understanding of the wider business.

As a Finance Business Partner your responsibilities will include:

* Work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business; with the ability to build strong relationships that allows you to constructively challenge and support with your own ideas and thoughts
* Be technically competent with excellent communication and relationship building skills and will have the ability to liaise with a wide range of non finance managers. You will play a key role in supporting decision making and in producing a high standard of quality management information, financial plans and business case development
* Build and maintain methods of reporting against operational KPIs in order to help drive performance across a network of delivery depots. To use this information to produce operational and financial insight and use this information to influence operational management
* Deliver an accurate month end, review, analyse, accrue and make corrections as needed to ensure each cost centre is correctly reported
* To prepare and present reporting packs that are clear, succinct, accurate and appropriate to relevant stakeholders providing an understanding of performance and opportunities to drive future improvements
* Budget management and forecasting – Aid the creation of rolling forecast and budgets that are realistic, robust and agile, working with stakeholders to ensure delivery of business and financial performance with clear identification of risks and opportunities
* Prepare financial models as needed, developing business cases in conjunction with stakeholders and other Business Units to enhance business performance, putting in place robust post implementation review processes performance vs. business cases
* Continual Improvement – Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
* Deputise as required and support the wider team as and when required

Person specification:

* Part Qualified studying towards CIMA/ACCA
* At least 1/2 years' working within a similar position
* Significant experience as a Finance Analyst looking to take their first or second move into a Business Partnering commercial role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels
* Ability to work well towards strict deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Analytical skills including use of Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
