Job Description

Hooray are proud to be supporting a local health & social care provider to assist in the recruitment for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Finance Assistant you will:

Ensure all invoices are authorised and coded to the correct nominal and cost centre codes
Be responsible for the execution of weekly/monthly supplier payment runs
Set up new supplier accounts on the Sage accounting system
Raise queries with suppliers or internally regarding purchase invoices/credit notes
Support on company credit card reconciliation's
Monitor and raise purchase orders
Assist with year-end checks
To be successful as a Finance Assistant you will:

Have a minimum two years experience working in purchase ledger and payroll
Be experienced in Purchase Order and Purchase Ledger processes
Be experienced in Payroll processes
Knowledge of Sage 50 & Sage Payroll would be advantageous
Knowledge of Netsuite would also be advantageous however, not essential
In return, my client is offering a salary of £25,000 per annum.
