Job Description
Accounts Payable Assistant

Salary: £23,000-£25,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Bicester

Equation Recruitment are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant on behalf of our well established and successful client in Bicester. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to work daily with purchase invoices and systems, resolve arising queries and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

Your Main Duties:
* Posting a high volume of purchase invoices onto the accounting systems.
* Ensuring all purchase invoices are matched to a purchase order/goods received note.
* Maintain a tidy purchase ledger.
* Deal with accounts related queries via email and telephone from colleagues and suppliers.
* Ensure direct debit accounts are reconciled.
* Reconcile supplier statements.

What you need:
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar position
* Experience with Sage X3 and/or Procure Wizard is preferred.
* Understanding of MS Excel and Word.
* Eye for detail.
* The ability to perform under pressure with a large workload.
* Great timekeeping.
