Job Description
RM Recruit are working in partnership with a forward-thinking organisation based in Solihull who are on the lookout for a Finance Administrator on a part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week. This role is for a 6-month fixed term contract.

This role is to support the finance team in the delivery of robust and accurate financial information for the group. As the successful candidate you will assist in the provision of financial accounting services and provide general administrative support to the finance team .

Main duties:

* Raising of sales invoices to customer portals

* Credit control

* Aged Creditors

* Bank reconciliations

* Monitoring finance emails

* Supporting the finance team in ad hoc duties

* Responding to customer queries in a timely manner

* Reviewing applications for credit accounts

* Drafting new account set up forms

* Updating the ledger

* Payment schedule for suppliers

* Providing holiday cover for posting daily cash receipts

As the ideal candidate, you will be available at short notice / immediately and possess good finance administration experience. You will be able to demonstrate a logical approach with a high attention to detail and accuracy. This role is based on a hybrid working setup, with the office presence being 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification. Applicants who are qualified by experience will also be considered for this position. You will be confident in your approach and be able to come on board and hit the ground running with minimal supervision required.
