Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Mansfield who has a great opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst

Working Hours: 35 hours

Hybrid working (2 office days per week)

Main Tasks of the role:

The role requires you to;

* To establish, maintain and develop embedded risk management practices throughout the business, which enable the company to meet its strategic goals.

* Responsible for overseeing the processes and practices involved in the identification, recording, monitoring and management of risks, including their linkage to the company’s risk policies and framework. Providing analytical expertise to enable the Risk team to exercise second-line oversight of credit and prudential risks.

* Working with key stakeholders to ensure that risks remain within the business’s agreed risk appetite.

The ideal candidate must;

* Previous experience within a risk related role within Financial Services or a 1st line finance role dealing with credit and / or prudential matters.

* Quantitative and analytical skills. Familiarity with analytical techniques. Confident in the use of Excel for analytical purposes.

* Ability to interpret and implement regulation / legislation

* Self-starter / problem solver with the ability to work using own initiative

* Ability to see the ‘bigger picture’

* Ability to work collaboratively with all areas of the business and liaise with staff at all levels across the business

* Good written and verbal communication

* Ability to work to high levels of accuracy under pressure

* Strong organisational skills

* Computer literate – Word, Excel and Outlook
